The National Mourning Day is observed annually on Aug. 15 to commemorate the assassination of the Bangladesh’s founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, along with most of his family members, in a military coup on that day in 1975. FCAB celebrated the life accomplishments of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by planting trees in Bagdumur, facilitating different activities in school, such as drawing pictures, handing out books and offering free eye exams to school children as well as their families.
