On global Hand Washing Day, FCAB organized a rally and discussion to raise awareness on the importance of washing hands with soap among villagers. The main focus of the event was to make hand washing with soap a habit for the children. Hundreds of school children and their guardians participated in the rally. They marched on the village road to make villagers aware of the importance of washing hands. Hand washing stations were made out of tippy tapes, which is locally available and sustainable. Volunteers helped the children to wash their hands using the tippy tapes. Every school student who took part in the hand washing initiative received a soap bar from FCAB.

Public Health Engineer of Sirajganj, Mr. Tabibur Rahman Talukdar talked about the global Hand Washing Day and the importance of washing hands with soap. Country Director of FCAB, Moushumi M. Khan thanked every individual involved to make the event a successful one. She requested the villagers to support the initiatives of FCAB in future.
